Mareld

In this project, lasercutting was explored as a technique to create an interaction between light and textile. The materials organza and tulle where combined as they respond differently to light.

Mareld is a modular textile that is made of several squares, that can be joined in different combinations, adjusting for the space it is used in. The textile is made as an installation, primarly for use outside, and was shown at Skogsfesten 2023 and at Ritus 2023.

In November and December it is shown at Rollin Bistros Backyard in Gamlestaden, Gothenburg.
