Mirage

The work Mirage explores the concept of memory, as the textile filters and disrupts the surrounding into fragments. The interaction creates a dance between light, wind, the textile, and, the environment.

Mirage is an exploration of weaving, where the horizontal threads are usually crossed over the whole width, are here broken, and a hundreds of narrow weaves are created. The gaps in the textile make it work like a filter, and the moiré effect occurs.

Mirage was exhibited during Lake Como Design Festival 2025.
